PenFinancial SPROWT college scholarships

hey Penn financial my name is Natasha and I’m a grade 12 student at Niagara Christian collegiate in for Terry this fall I’ll be entering into the bachelor of arts honors kinesiology program at Redeemer and University College I chose kinesiology because I love people and I’m really passionate about helping people through sports and recreation I love sports ever since I learned how to walk and growing up I opposed played and coached many different sports that they each taught me a valuable life lesson like leadership determination teamwork college scholarships and hard work I spent several summers volunteering as a sports director at a children’s day camp and coaching and mentoring young athletes there’s something in those sports that brings different people together and I really love that I’m heavily involved in the athletics department at my school including planning office’ in June planning and

running school spirit initiatives and captaining my soccer team my high school has students from all over the world in fact about 90% of our student body is made up of international students many of whom don’t know English when they arrive but as soon as we step on the basketball court or the soccer pitch we are all united in a shared passion with unique skills to contribute I find the same thing wherever I travel to Mexico France Brazil sports are universal and they help people live healthier and happier lives there’s a big connection between fitness and mental health activities like sports yoga at the gym or even just going for a jog help people to feel better emotionally as well as physically I chose to go into kinesiology because

I want to help people I want to share my love for sports by teaching others how to improve in their sport I want to help people become healthier and I want to use sports and recreation to spread joy in the lives of different people of many different ages and walks of life and I want to travel and help people both here in Niagara and in different countries around the world Thank You Penn financial for the opportunity to share you [Music]
