adelphia teenager who used to be homeless is now headed to Harvard on a full scholarship eighteen-year-old Richard Jenkins is the class valedictorian that is his high school and he remembers lying to a friend about where he lived and college scholarships feeling awful afterwards that’s when he was in sixth grade and he decided he wanted a better life so he made a conscious decision to focus on academics little did

he know that dedication would bring him a full ride I found that Harvard has this great program for if your family makes under 65 thousand dollars a year they or nothing so I was like okay you’re telling me all I got to do is get in game on all you got to do it’s hard to get into Harvard it’s awesome that he did Richard also I set up a GoFundMe account to help cover some of the finances at Harvard that won’t be covered by his scholarship money
